Stimulus check with misspelled name

My daughter received stimulus check for $1200 but her last name is misspelled.
First name and address are correct. Last name misspelled by 1 letter. In tax return everything is spelled correctly.
Check itself has a watermark and I also checked mailing date on irs.gov get my payment page. The mailing date is 07/31 and I received it on 08/03

Questions:
1. How do I know that check is not fake?
2. How to fix the name issue?
3. Is it safe to deposit it?

Да, спасибо, я видел такой совет. Т.е. просто сделать deposit? А если банк не примет такой чек, все же не $10.

Сделайте электронный депозит если банк позволяет, чтобы чек на руках остался. В 99.9% никаких проблем не будет.
