Northwest Pistol League

Hello Shooters!

The first match of the Northwest Pistol League will take place tomorrow, March 6th at 7:00 pm. The league will run for 8 weeks. You must participate in at least 6 of the 8 weeks to qualify for prizes. Your top 6 scores will count, so if you participate all 8 weeks we'll drop your lowest 2 scores. If you have to miss a week, you can shoot a make-up after the regular match the following week.

The weekly league fee of $7 covers range fees and cost of awards and food for the banquet at the end of the 8-week league. We need an average of 8 shooters to cover costs. If we don't get enough participation, the league will be disbanded early, and any money collected that wasn't spent on range fees and supplies will be donated to the Eastside King County Friends of NRA. There will be no refunds.

Please forward this email to anyone you know who might want to join the league. New shooters are always welcome, and can simply show up on any league night to sign up. This is a fun league designed to help you improve your shooting skills. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!

What you need to compete:
-18 and older: Handgun of .380 caliber or larger (smaller calibers are welcome for noncompetitive fun)
-17 and under: To encourage younger shooters, handguns of any caliber will be recognized.
-48 rounds of ammunition
-One extra magazine or speed loader
-Safety check by NWPA Range Officer

Извиняюсь, что поздно повесил. Стрельбы начались вчера, но для зачёта надо отстрелять шесть туров из восьми. Шанс ещё есть. Стреляем по четвергам в 7.00 в Кенте.

Похвастаюсь - я вчера отстрелял лучше всех с результатом 395. Ближайший соперник (он занял первое место в прошлой лиге) выбил 383. Он работает в этом тире и скурпулёзно тренируется каждый день. Я стрелял последний раз шесть недель назад.
Только половина (7 человек) выбили больше трёхсот.
