Важно не сколько зарабатывет Китай, а сколько остается в сухом остатке заработной платы каждого отдельного китайца. А остается мало именно благодаря коррупции.

А поскольку слово у Путина не расходится с делом, от него надо ждать...

Разумеется, они поданы в очень негативном контексте - "но на самом деле...", однако вылавливать жемчужины в куче навоза лично я учился во времена Брежнева. Например, в "Литературной газете", наиболее либеральном и наиболее читаемом на тот момент издании, публиковалась статья на страницу, обличающая Солженицына, и туда в качестве примеров вставлялись цитаты из книги "Архипелаг Гулаг". Мысли в цитатах были очень правильные, а критика несуразная, так что мы скорее соглашались с Солженициным, чем с критикой.

Скорей всего, увлекшись антипутинской риторикой, Кац даже не замечает, что характеризует Путина как выдающегося политического деятеля нашей эпохи, так что комплименты от этого становятся еще весомее. Одно дело, когда такое сказал бы Киселев, и совсем другое - Кац. Весь остальной мусор Каца, в общем-то, особого значения не имеет, обычная антироссийская трескотня, восхваление демократии как величайшей ценности, универсального "золотого ключика" к волшебной дверце в сказочную страну, на поверку оказывающуюся страной дураков, плюс столь же модный, сколь и бессмысленный совет избавиться от коррупции, как будто бы кто-то с этим может быть не согласен, и без него все знают, что лучше быть богатым и здоровым, чем бедным и больным.

Подтверждаю. Разговаривал с китайцами коллегами и многие "жалуются" что американские китайцы зарабатывают меньше чем китайские китайцы, причем именно последние регулярно скупают недвигу в той же Кали.

Putin Gobsmacks Uncle Sam … Again

Ukraine is busted, are you kidding me? The country that was so critical to US plans for luring Putin into a Vietnam-type quagmire, is headed for bankruptcy? So all that work was for nothing–toppling the government, arming the Nazis, fomenting a civil war, incinerating buildings full of civilians in Odessa, shooting down commercial airliners, and plunging the state into Somalia-like chaotic abyss? It was all just a big miscalculation, a boo-boo; is that it?

Can you see why the United States can’t be trusted as “the guarantor of global security”? Washington destroys everything it touches with its wrecking ball foreign policy; Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria. Now it’s destroyed Ukraine. Who’ll be next?

Putin has done us all a favor by throwing a wrench in Washington’s plans and helping to bring the era of imperial overreach to a swift and merciful end. We all owe him a debt of gratitude.

Let us not gild the lily: the economic war against Russia hurt, and for a day or two there was reason for western optimism that their attempt to backstab Putin out of office would bear fruit. But it didn’t, and Elliott’s brainless rah-rah cheerleading for Washington was torpedoed by Russian resolve and resilience. The west now has the global opponent it thought it wanted, but market replacement and a rejection of western institutions within Russia signifies a decisive turning away from the west that will not easily be reversed, if ever. Vladimir Putin could run over a pensioner with his car on election day and still cruise to victory without breaking a sweat. None of the west’s goals of economic warfare against Russia have been realized. Not one.

Я слышал в Венесуэлле люди тоже очень весёлые. В СССЕ мы тоже стояли в очередях с энтизиазмом и верили в светлое будущее. В странах бывшего СССР/СНГ есть определённая традиция измерения качества жизни не обьективными параметрами (типа, уровня соц обеспечения, качества медицины, инфляции, беработицы, уровнея законности, привлекательности для инвестиций и бизнеса, итд.), а тем как страна показывает другим кузькину мать и "впереди планеты всей". Хотя, это свойственно не только бывшим странам СССР, но им особенно.

Ещё во времена Хрущёва, когда он стучал подинком по подиуму, народом одолевала безконечная гордость за Родину. Что касается статистики, если исключить Мосву, с точки зрения доходов и всего остального, Россия будет значительно ниже 58 места в подобных рейтингах.

Сто раз слышала этот аргумент и сотый раз удивляюсь: а зачем надо исключать Москву? ~15% страны живет в Москве, Московской области и Питере. Это примерно как сказать: "что касается статистики США, если исключить Калифорнию и Нью-Джерси..."
