JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Financial Analyst
FLSA Status: Exempt
Department: Finance
Report to: VP of Finance

Job Summary
As an integral part of the finance team, this role provides an opportunity to engage in financial management and supporting business decisions, from conducting functional business reviews with stakeholders and documenting business requirements to analyzing issues and recommending business solutions that meet stakeholder needs. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong attention to detail and proficient with excel who enjoys analyzing and interpreting data to support business decisions and streamline operations.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Create and manage budget, forecast and actuals for Perfect World North America Corporation’s subsidiaries. Perform variance analysis and identify key business reasons for fluctuations.
• Monitor departmental spending versus budget by highlighting material variances using system generated detail and trend reports.
• Work with accounting team during month end closing to ensure proper accounting accruals, prepare flux analysis, and provide feedback.
• Assist with inquiry and data collection requests from headquarters.
• Support other reporting and analysis on ad-hoc basis.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business administration, Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience in a finance or FP&A role. FP&A experience is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, quantitative and modeling skills; strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Ability to analyze data and enjoys troubleshooting and understanding large amounts of data.
• Detail oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) and desire to work collaboratively with team members.
• Familiarity of dashboard reporting (for example, Tableau), revenue, income statement and cash flow analysis.
• Oracle and Hyperion experience is preferred.
