The job that we have for you is quite simple. We have thousands of opt-in
Job Seekers in North America who pay to have their resumes distributed
to several of our Affiliate Job Sites in order to increase their chance of

We need a number of Data entry operators to do the following:

1. Create Yahoo! Mail accounts. You will be sent all the information on each
Job Seeker that you need to create the accounts. All you have to do is go
to http://www.yahoo.com and follow the instructions there to sign up for a
free Yahoo! Mail account for each Job Seeker using their information
provided.

2. You will then go to http://www.BiotekJobs.com/resumedistribution.htm
Scroll down to the bottom of the page to the "Affiliate Job Sites" section.
Click on each of the Affiliate Job Sites and follow the instructions there
to register and post each client's resume to each of the 5 Affiliate Job
Sites using the information from the Yahoo! Mail account created in step
1 above. The resumes must be made searchable by recruiters and employers.

You will be paid CA$20.00 or US$15.00 per batch of 10 resumes processed
according to the above instructions. Earnings will be calculated and paid
fortnightly. All Cheques will be mailed out on the 1st and 15th of each
month.

The expected MINIMUM production rate is 50 resumes (5 batches) per day.
There is no limit on the maximum number of resumes you can process per
day or the number of days you can work per week.

Of course, the nature of this job requires complete confidentiality on your
part. Under no circumstances should clients information be disclosed to a
third party or be used by you for any other purpose than that for which
you are contracted. Under no circumstances should you contact our clients.

* Installation, Configuration management, Security, Monitoring and Tuning, Trouble Shooting.
* Strong skills in hot standby setup, configuration and maintenance.
* Backup and Recovery strategies using RMAN.
* Required knowledge at OS level on unix platforms.
* Monitoring and optimizing the performance of the database.
* Enrolling users and maintaining system security.
* Modifying the database structure, as necessary, from information given by application developers.
* Will work directly under Hiring Manager's supervision.

Project Description:
This is a senior level position supporting the design, development and
implementation of Oracle technologies for a national transportation
logistics and contracting system. We are seeking strong Oracle
Developer 2000 software engineers. The work environment includes Oracle 8i/9i on large NT servers and Forms/Reports 6i and 9i in a web
environment. This is a full systems life cycle project and developers
will have the opportunity to play a role in some of the more traditional DBA roles as well.

Qualifications:
This is a hands on technical position requiring:
" 5-6+ years related experience, including specific expertise with
Oracle Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, etc.
" 4 yr technical degree preferred, experience may substitute.
" Certifications in Oracle a plus

Required skills and experience:
" Experience with all phases of system life cycle (rqmts,
prototyping, design, development, testing)
" Strong Oracle background, particularly Forms and Reports
(6i/9i).
" Strong SQL, PL/SQL and experience with Packages, Functions,
Procedures, DB Triggers and SQL Tuning
" Strong communication skills (verbal, written) are required

Desired Skills and Experience:
" Experience with Pro*C, C, Perl, and experience with complex sql
interfaces
" Experience deploying Oracle technologies on the web is a big
plus.
" Knowledge of DBA functions, but this is not a DBA position -
it's a development slot
" Experience with Java, J2EE, Servlets, Beans, HTML, Struts, etc.

Howard Systems is seeking to fill a permanent position with a C# and .NET Developer. Our client is in the Investment Banking industry and they are located in Stamford, CT. The position involves developing desktop applications for an Equities Trading System. These applications will interact with order management and market data servers and will be able to handle high volume of messaging. Therefore, experience with Messaging software, i.e., Tibco RV or similar software, is also required.

Technical Requirements:

Object-Oriented Analysis & Design, Patterns- Expertise in utilizing OO analysis techniques via patterns in actual development efforts. Must be fluent in sequence, collaboration, and deployment diagrams in UML notation. Must be capable of explaining solutions via these diagrams.

Windows API - Knowledge and 4+ years experience

Messaging - Expertise with interprocess communications using sockets, Tibco RV, or similar technologies. Experience must be greater than 2 years.

Delphi, C++ - Expertise with development using RAD technologies, 4+ years

.Net and C# - Understanding .Net technology, know how to use interop and CCW. 1+ experience with C#, good understanding how managed code is working, boxing-unboxing, garbage collector, namespaces, threads and thread pools

Multi-threading - Extensive development expertise in high-performance, multi-threaded programming (thread pools, mutex, critical segments, etc.). Experience must be greater than 2 years.

Databases - Experience with some form of high performance RDBM systems such as Oracle and/or Sybase.

OPTIONAL JOB REQUIREMENTS

Execution / finance systems experience, or transactional systems experience. Experience with development in a financial (preferably equities execution) setting, or development on a high throughput, transaction-oriented system.
Architecture - Experience with building systems that have high availability, .
ClearCase / ClearQuest - 2+ years of experience with version control system Unified Process - Experience utilizing the Unified Process or other formal, iterative development process.

Responsibilities Include:
Develop, debug, and support GUI components for a high throughput, highly available, and scalable execution systems.
