Вообще, да, может имеет смысл на сайте prespective employers посмотреть, во всяком случае узнать, какие конкретно скиллзы и программные продукты им требуются и более их акцентировать, именно проекты с их применением.
А никаких связей у вас в Боинге не осталось? Может кто-то кому-то может вас порекомендовать тут в штатах?

Я и пытаюсь применяться непосредственно в те компании, которые знаю. Это в основном бодишопы, сдающие людей на Боинг. На самом Боинге много конечно кого осталось. И в среде менеджмента. Однако в директы попасть нереально (туда только с гринкой, или гражданством). Поэтому мои связи мне и не помогают. Только контрактером от сторонней организации (я так 7 лет у них оттарабанил). А так через линкедин пробую поддерживать связи. Вдруг да и пригодится. Кстати, после переделки резюме звонки таки пошли. Но после 10-15 минут разговора народ быстро отказывается, узнавая откуда я А скажите, как сейчас в штатах с кризисом? Год назад Боинг серьезно сокращался, работы не хватало, все сильно нервничали. Местные американцы на нас косо смотрели (типа работу отбираем). Все ждали когда подвалит военных заказов, на которые американцы свалят. На этой волне и ушел из компании.

С телефоном не заморачивайтесь. Как тут уже писали, вам все равно надо оформлять рабочую визу. Дело не в кризисе, а в том, что инженерный рынок в авиации специфичен и ограничен. Надо иметь уникальные скиллы, чтобы быть на столько нужным, что ради вас будут делать визу.
Я сам в каком-то смысле бывший авиатор. Хотя и работаю по специальности (CS), но не в авиации. Некоторые мои бывшие коллеги по цеху из МАИ работали тоже в халтурках Boeing'а и EADS, ездили по контрактам во Францию и Германию. Но никто постоянную работу нен нашел. Да и трудно это без хорошего языка, понимания рабочего рынка и отсутсвия чего-то уникального. Однако у вас есть шансы, только копать вам все-таки надо шире и одновременно более сфокусированно. Подготовьте резюме с упором на опыт в CAD/CAM'ах. PTS, UGS, EADS. Mentor, Autodesk много работы для разработчиков, постановщиков, тестеров с опытом в домене. Причем, во всех этих лавочках до фига русских людей. PTS, по-моему, вобще русская тусовка. Кроме больших лавочек типа Boeing, где действительно большой шанс, что от вас потребуется гражданство, есть много контракторов и контор помельче в той же сфере. Туда не сильно легче попасть и везде нужен местный опыт. Но если не пробовать, то никуда не попадете.

Я бы посоветовал вам смотреть и на другие области кроме авиации. Работы с вашими скилсами и образованием до хрена и трошки. О!!! Тут за один раз все не почищешь. Афгеевы конюшни. Ну попробуем. Во первых используйте абривиатуру везде где возможно. Не надо писать finite element analysis. Просто FEA. В CAD Software убрать разделение на эксперта и юзера.kuznec76 wrote:Вот мое поправленное резюме

Спасибо. Все читал внимательнейшим образом. Просто не со всем был согласен. Тем более что некоторые пункты вызвали довольно живую дискуссию. Например положение образования. Занимает только одну строку, поэтому нет смысла его располагать за опытом работы. Теперь по разным версиям Catia. V4 и V5 - принципиально разные программы, абсолютно не похожи друг на друга. Поэтому и важно обязательно указать и то и другое. По всем остальным пунктам поправил. Очень дельные замечания. Теперь резюмешка укладывается в одну страницу. Вот оно

Кстати, вопрос по поводу магистерской степени и инженерной. Как вы понимаете на постсоветстком пространстве магистерская и инженерная (специалист) степени - параллельны. Половина как и раньше получают степени инженеров-конструкторов. Половина идут чуть дальше, и получают магистра. Это не как на западе: бакалавр, магистр (хотя нострифицируется именно так). У меня и та и та в наличие. Может инженера-конструктора оставить?

Перенесите образование и softwear за опыт работы для начала. Пишите CATIA4/5. Поверьте, кому надо - поймут. и пишите пжл везде FEA!!! Я вам второй раз об этом уже говорю. Я не механик, не уверен что терминология одна и та же в разных областях, так что за правильность критики не уверен, но тем не менее - кое что режет глаз.
[in the structural layouts and aerospace detail design] у нас говорят [layout], без ; [detail] - не звучит, может [component]?
[hard loaded metal] - [heavy loaded metal]?
[or plastic elements] - [and plastic elements]?
[did linear, non-linear and magnetic] ? Во первых перед [and] надо запятую по правилам грамматики, во вторых, по смыслу - странное сочетание разных категорий [linear and magnetic].
Ну и много еще чего по мелочам. [Matlab] - это от [Matrix] не от [Mathematics].
Я бы порекомендовал отдать на вычитку инженеру механику - носителю языка.

И я того же мнения, правильные подсказки. А linear/non-linear и magnetic можно просто разными строчками/пунктами перечисления разнести.
Influence, лучше пожалуй impact on temperature
Did - это тоже надо бы заменить, режет глаз. Заменить на prepared или просто слово вообще убрать.
Также (возможно слишком придираюсь) - непонятны игры с PhD. Или его в образование - для позиций, где это плюс. Или его выбросить вообще, для позиций, где это прямо вредно. А рассчитывать на то, что тот, кому нужно, увидит, и при этом другие не обратят внимания - наивно. Будете overqualified постоянно.

Я знал пару инженеров из Энергии, которые работали на Буран, а потом свалили в Швейцарию. Поищите там русских аэроинженеров через LinkedIn, может быть помогут с устройством. Тоже узнаете в каких фирмах идет развитие.

Кстати, вопрос по поводу магистерской степени и инженерной. Как вы понимаете на постсоветстком пространстве магистерская и инженерная (специалист) степени - параллельны. Половина как и раньше получают степени инженеров-конструкторов. Половина идут чуть дальше, и получают магистра. Это не как на западе: бакалавр, магистр (хотя нострифицируется именно так). У меня и та и та в наличие. Может инженера-конструктора оставить?

Кстати, вопрос по поводу магистерской степени и инженерной. Как вы понимаете на постсоветстком пространстве магистерская и инженерная (специалист) степени - параллельны. 7 лет на одном месте, и без повышения??? Это не оценят. Впечатление, что ты просто ковырялся под чужим руководством - worked, designed, transferred. Use strong dynamic words - achieved, organized, established, managed, etc.
Огромный + если ты работал по разным направлениям и чего-то там добился или улучшил. То есть тебя ценили, двигали, ставили на новые проекты.

Спасибо за дельные замечания Izoslav. Особенно по языку. Попытался подправить все подмеченное. По мне так самое сложное как раз сформулировать кратко в одно предложение этот первый параграф, используя корректные слова и выражения. А в остальном резюме - документ почти стандартный, по крайней мере для инженерных точных наук. Этож не сочинение. Мое мнение, не должно в нем быть вступления, основной части и окончания. Все четко, в установленном (гостированном) порядке. Просто порядок в разных странах может отличаться, это да. Публикации и конференции не добавлял, поскольку это абсолютно лишнее, если вы апплируетесь на инженера-конструктора. Мне и PhD-ную степень то пришлось убрать. Теперь по поводу 7 лет на одном месте без повышения. Конечно повышение было. Я записал лишь наивысшую достигнутую инженерную квалификацию. Нужно ли было записывать TD1, TD2, TD3, DE1, DE2 - не уверен. А 7 лет на одном месте - действительно слишком долго для современного мира. Но как не странно не для Боинга. Там люди сидят по 30-40 лет на одном месте, как в старых совковых конторах. По образованию, думаю вы правы, я вернул нашу инженерную степень на свое место. Так лишним не будет. Что либо сгруппировать в опыте работы по отделам, или различным проектам нужно конечно, но сделать это достаточно сложно. Лучше по специфике работы. Вот например я работал в трех специфичных отделах: Structure, Sustain, Systems. И брать на работу будут в одно из этих направлений. Соответсвенно я и пытался по трем этим отделам сгруппировать опыт. А проекты лишь в конце предложения указал. Как-то еще разделить опыт, пока не вижу как. Жирной заливкой кое что выделил. По софту используемому, я старался все максимально упростить, лишь перечислить. Как советовали форумчане выше. Посмотрите, до этого мое резюме было намного сложнее. Спасибо большое всем откликнувшимся. Нашел работодателя, который согласен оплатить и провести процесс оформления грин карты. Сейчас уже заполняю формы для Labor Certification. Возник один маленький вопрос. В резюмешке я не указывал свою кандидатскую диссертацию (поскольку применялся на инженера и боялся быть оверквалифайт). По идее и далее нужно следовать этому. Можно и на сертификацию в департамент труда указать магистерский уровень, как наивысший. Вопрос вот в чем. Смогу ли я в будущем сверкануть кандидатским дипломом, или уже не получится, поскольку при сертификации сейчас он не указан. Может глупо на этом этапе спрашивать о дальней перспективе, но а вдруг пригодится еще мой диссер
