AT&T (Cricket) "Call Waiting"

Not able to activate "Call Waiting" on Cricket Wireless (uses AT&T network). This feature is listed on the plan.

When trying to activate a "Call Waiting" feature, I get the flowing error message "Unexpected response from network".

Tried different Android phones as well as a dumb-phone, so the problem is definitely not with my phone and/or its settings.

The problem has to do with the network and its settings on the provider side.

Contacted the support, but they did not help.

Any ideas?

Also, tried to manually query and activate as follows:
status query *#43# <DIAL>
Response: "Call waiting: Service has been disabled"

*43# <DIAL>
Response: "Connection problem or invalid MMI code"

Возможно, какие-то местные глюки сети. У меня включается и выключается в настройках телефона за пару секунд. Работает ли сам сервис не проверял.
