Project Overview:

This work assignment is to resource the Technology Specialist role on the Remote Management and Server Consolidation project. This assignment is specifically to assist the Project Team for Phase 2 activities for Server Consolidation Server move/migration. This includes move/migration activities of Domino dependent servers to support the collapse of subnets in Toronto. In addition we will be implementing a solution for WebFarm Migration that will require a resource for Planning and Execution.

Objectives:

Server Consolidation Phase 2 – Server Move/Migration – 15% allocation – April (ASAP) to May 30
· Application discovery and/or information gathering about Notes/Domino servers/applications where servers will need to be re-IP’d.
· Development of Test plans in cooperation with application support. for servers being re-IP’d
· Execution (as a secondary resource) of all required/identified testing to validate servers that will be re-IP’d
· Performing validation and final testing of applications being transitioned, as well as the creation and execution of test scripts.
· Provide warranty support during Implementation.

Webfarm Migration
· Creditor Genesis 5% - April (ASAP) 5 days of effort
o Execution of installation and configuration of Domino software on host machine
o Development of Test plans (as a secondary resource) for moving the application in cooperation with application support.
o Performing validation and final testing of applications being transitioned, as well as the creation and execution of test scripts.
o Roll-out of the migrating server to its new infrastructure environment .

· WebFarm Migration 30% - April (ASAP) to June 30
o Application discovery and/or information gathering about Notes/Domino servers/applications to be transitioned.
o Development of Test plans for servers transitioning in conjunction with the application’s designated Acceptor.
o Performing validation and final testing of applications being transitioned, as well as the creation and execution of test scripts.
o Contributing to project work breakdown structure definition, work package planning and resource requirements planning
o Participating in quality inspections for other team members work deliverables, as required
