Ketek
Неоднократно принимала этот антибиотик от бронхита. Сейчас похоже опять бронхит, хотела попросить у доктора, но нашла кучу информации в интернет предупреждающей, что это опасный антибиотик, разрушающий печень. Я в ужасе... Кто что скажет по этому поводу?
Не говорите мне что делать, и я не буду говорить куда вам идти.

Если Вы его принимали раньше и никаких реакций ( adverse events) не было то не надо особенно беспокоиться.
Reversible hepatitis, with or without jaundice, occurred in 0.07% of patients treated with telithromycin in phase III clinical studies. Abnormal liver function tests were also reported. Discontinue telithromycin immediately if patients exhibit signs and symptoms of hepatitis. If patients are diagnosed with clinical hepatitis or have elevated transaminases in addition to other systemic symptoms, discontinue telithromycin permanently (Prod Info KETEK(R) oral tablets, 2006).

Contraindications
A) concomitant use of cisapride or pimozide (Prod Info KETEK(R) oral tablets, 2006)
B) hepatitis or jaundice caused by telithromycin or other macrolide antibiotic, history of (Prod Info KETEK(R) oral tablets, 2006)
C) hypersensitivity to telithromycin, macrolide antibiotics, or any component of a telithromycin product (Prod Info KETEK(R) oral tablets, 2006)
1) Hepatotoxicity has been reported with telithromycin treatment. Reactions such as fulminant hepatitis, hepatic necrosis leading to liver transplant, acute hepatic failure, and some fatal cases of severe hepatic injury have occurred during or immediately after treatment. In some cases, progress of liver injury was rapid, occurring after treatment with a few telithromycin doses. Most cases of hepatic dysfunction occurring during clinical trials and in post-marketing reports were mild to moderate and generally reversible. Severe hepatic reactions have sometimes been associated with serious underlying diseases or concurrent medications. Discontinue telithromycin immediately if patients exhibit signs and symptoms of hepatitis. If patients are diagnosed with clinical hepatitis or have elevated transaminases in addition to other systemic symptoms, discontinue telithromycin permanently (Prod Info KETEK(R) oral tablets, 2006).
А почему именно Ketek и именно liver toxicity? Ketek has other side effects besides liver toxicity that you could worry about.
Ketek may interact with other medications that you are on.
If you are worrying about hepatitis that you had in childhhood it really depends on your liver function or signs and symptoms of hepatitis at the present moment. If liver function is ok and no signs and symptoms at the present moment I would not worry about Ketek and liver toxicity. Как я уже писала вероятность возникновения 0.07% и ето очень низкий процент . Я в детстве Боткина болела- это ведь тоже какой- то Гепатит..
вы вероятней всего болели гепатитом А который полностью излечивается сам по себе и не имеет долгосрoчных последствий.

А бронхит хронический? Сделайте посев мокроты. Тем более антибиотики лучше менять время от времени, чтобы чувствительность не пропадала.
выдра, если есть какие-то нежелательные эффекты, вы всегда можете попросить врача поменять лекарство.
