Hey guys,
I've heard that if you study in the grad school here w/ F1 visa, then you'll have an year to find a job and apply for H1B.
What if you study in the undergrad school? Can you then continue the studies in grad school? Will you have an year to find a job? Can you do all that stuff w/o return to Russia?
Thank you.
Dmitry

Поищите информацию в интернете об OPT.
Вот, что UW об этом говорит:
http://iss.washington.edu/stu/optAP.html
Optional Practical Training (OPT) provides F-1 students with an opportunity for hands-on work experience complementary to the academic field of study. You must have been enrolled in a full course of study for one academic year to apply. You are eligible for a maximum of 12 months of full-time OPT per academic level. For example, you may apply for OPT after completing a Bachelor's degree and then again after completing a Master's degree.
