I am a post-doc at Cornell...Suppose to live in Ithaca. Isn't it...Unfortunately Cornell had 1 college at Manhattan(Weill Med) and my professor moved there... Now I spent 1.300 per mo. for small and dark 1 bed-room and stay very happy about it... It is a piece of info in your discussion regarding price of living near big Uni...As for info about employment for wife it depends a lot on a variety of different factors and big city is not always a best place to be employed.
