Ну предложения у автора вполне здравые. Про ЕС, правда, спорный момент, но это украинцам решать. Янукович вообще референдум по этому вопросу обещал, но хунта подмахнула, никого не спрашивая.

The way to do this is two-fold: first we need to stop our military intrusion into Ukrainian-Russian affairs, so diminishing Russian fears of aggression, and, second, wherever possible and in whatever ways are acceptable to both parties to assist the growth of the Ukrainian economy and, indirectly, the stability and sanity of the Ukrainian governing system. A first step in this direction could be for Ukraine to join the European Union.

Честно говоря не вижу никакой здравости, поскольку конец мысли противоречит её началу.
Начал с того, что надо искать приемлемое для России место Украины, а закончил тем, что первым делом Украину надо затащить в ЕС.
А если само затаскивание Украины в ЕС неприемлемо для России, тогда что?
