Cracking the coding interview использовал в основном как примеры задач, а не как способы их решения... Решал на доске, тренировался... Зачастую решения были более оптимальные чем в книге. Ну еще алгоритмы Кормана читал, concurrency in Java от Brian Goetz, разбирал строение классов как в Джаве так и в Гуаве, и т.п. Оказалось что так глубоко и не копали... Хотя сейчас и на моем месте неплохо кормят, но хотелось бы более интерестные задачи решать...
