собственно я уже писал: берется с торента какой-нибудь 4K фильм в кодеке HEVC (H.265), файл что-то около 30 Gb. Фильм двух часовой. То есть 4 мегабайта в секунду или 40 Mbps. Несколько больше заявленного 25. Но мои AP точки выдает больше. Десктоп с wifi карточкой показывает 20 мегабайт в секунду, то есть 200 Mbps (и это при других потребителях, например рабочий лептоп с VPN). То есть дело вовсе не в пропускной способности. Но практика показывает что проигрывание такого файла вызывает проблемы, чтобы я ни брал. Из интереса попробовал тот же файл играть прямо с телика WiFi (SONY Bravia с Google TV) из KODI - жуткая буферизация. Можно подцепить на шнурок и проверить с ним, но не факт что поможет.

у меня без wifi - Servio легко проигрывает. причем рядом могу смотреть 1080p 3D который жрет не меньше чем 4к. не смогут они и треть гигабитного канала забить

Сомнения были связаны с MoCa, а не с гигабитным канало как таковым, но как выяснилось там QoS имеется так, что при правильной настройке проблем не дожно быть тоже.
Тут еще не понятно было про так называемый 2.5Gb Ethernet port, который не понятно куда прелагается втыкать...

Не удается нормально работать через консоль: мусор как на выводе (как в тексте выше) так и на вводе.
В чем может быть проблема, что теряются биты? В кабеле или в настройках?

Через кривую консоль кое как ввел, вроде получилось перепрошить.

Ага, похоже рано радовался. Попользовался интернетом 10 минут, обрубился. Передернул питание на роутере - та же история - unreachable network , порт не пингуется

А сейчас опять заработало.. Может кто то знает как на линуксе, а конерктно edgeos проверить диск на бэдблоки?

Поддерживаю предыдущего оратора. Если есть возможность купить другой роутер - лучше попроще, но на гарантии и без непонятных падений. Я потратил три года на нервы, думал вайфай сигнал ломается из-за помех, и шилдед ютп протянул, и точку доступа хорошую купил, и всё на свете сделал - а ублюдочный роутер был бракованный и терял пакеты иногда тупо по проводу пингуя его же.

Да, я боюсь сей экземпляр того, скорее мёртв чем жив. Может флеш память померла почти и вы теперь видите побочки от этого.

Пока думаю отказываться от него как придет или нет
При том что сама модель в работе мне вообще не понравилась. Был до этого Zyxel Keentic - там целый маркет плагинов, и ftp и dlna и VPN. Тут же вообще ничего плюс еще по надежности говно - год проработал и сдох

Самое обидно что в младшей модели внутри usb флешка, которую легко заменить
Но тут есть USB порт
Может у вас есть информация, можно ли настроить роутер, что бы с usb порта грузилась операционка?
