There are multiple identities setup up for the site using host header.
So you can access site using both www.domain.com and domain.com
Now I have setup IP restriction (deny access from particular IP).
When accessing site from restricted IP using www.domain.com IP restriction works, says access denied. But when using domain.com I can access site no problems!
Whats the problem?
Thanks.

Do you have any other web sites running on the same server?
Could that happen that when you type domain.com you go to other site than www.domain.com, e.g. Default Web Site ?
What does IIS log tell about your attempts? Are both attempts (successful and unsuccessful) logged?

Yes, a few.

No, I see the same web page.

Ok, checked this and seems that some hits coming from a proxy IP...I guess that can be the reason. Thanks.
