"What's wrong with these people? Mozart is portrayed as a dumbass and a genius? If he was like that, I hate him and people like that, it's as if they haven't lived a single day in their lives. This movie is a bad movie because of the music, which gets on my nerves. The directing isn't great and the storyline is boring. There is no inspiration, no acting and the way Mozart dies is pathetic. The guy makes him think too much and his dumbass brain works too much? That's what he gets. Mozart is no hero, you want a heroic movie. That's Scarface and Braveheart."

This movie was WEIRD!
OK, well I saw this one a couple months ago, and boy was I surprised..but not in a good way! I like Liza Minelli a lot, but seriously, this movie was really out there. Some of it was just plain disturbing. Those ugly men prancing around in wigs/lipstick/dresses was seriously nasty, I mean, maybe it was realistic, but if that's how grizzly reality was back then, I would have rather not seen it! And the underlying theme of the movie was that Life is a Cabaret, yea right! If life was really like that with all the dark undertones and weird twisted crap then I wouldn't be around anymore.

More like the "Godless" Father...
Quite possibly the MOST over rated film in history. Never has there been so much made of so little. It is an OK movie if you like discriminate killing and foul language and the glorification of "gang" lifestyle. This movie hardly belongs in the top 50 let alone be in the #1 spot.

OVER HYPED!
This by no means was a great movie. Movies like this and Taxi Driver, I just don't understand how people can rate it in the top 100 of ALL TIME.

Yes, the visual effects were great even by today's standards. But visuals alone don't make a movie. Otherwise the new Planet of the Apes should be mentioned in the top 100 too. Furthermore, I thought Ford was a total miscast (though not as much as Hoffman woulda been).

I kinda got the feeling this movie couldn't decide if it wanted to be a philosophical drama, but then an action movie at times. It ultimately failed on both fronts.

If you wanna see a philisophical, non-action Sci-Fi, IMO Gattaca did much better

Godfather интересен игрой двух великих актеров, больше там ничего, собственно, нет. Bladerunner пустой фильм ИМХО.

Cabaret не смотрел, а остальные - все очень хорошие фильмы.
Blade Runner - вообще классика жанра.
