Each year we admit up to 10 new Ph.D. students with a wide variety of backgrounds, including economics, sciences, humanities and engineering. Candidates are expected to demonstrate outstanding potential for scholarly research and teaching plus motivation to pursue an academic career upon graduation. We award fellowships and teaching assistantships to all admitted students who are given freedom in selecting research topics and advisors. Typical
financial aid package includes tuition fee waiver and a fellowship that covers living expenses. The department also funds several teaching and research assistantships that provide additional income. Please note that an applicant to the Operations and Information Management doctoral program must submit GRE general test or GMAT test scores and the TOEFL/TWE and TSE score.
