Which dentist does extraction of wisdom teeth (general, endodontist, etc...?) Also, is this procedure classified as basic or major (for insurance purposes)?

1. Oral Surgeon
2. Some insurance companies have it as a major procedure, others - as basic. I've seen both. You need to check with your company as soon as you know what type of extraction you need (e.g. erupted tooth, impacted - full bony, impacted - partial bony, impacted - soft tissue etc).
