Job Title: Strategy Developer
Reports to: Team Leader
Location: New York, New York


Short-Term Job Responsibilities (first 3 months):

Gain familiarity with the team and processes
Gain familiarity with the team and processes
Implement ultra-high frequency trading strategies in C++

Long-Term Job Responsibilities:

Design and implement ultra-high frequency trading strategies in C++ in collaboration with traders and quantitative researchers
Verification of strategy behavior in a back-testing environment
Work closely with traders in the deployment and monitoring of strategies
Create post-trade analysis tools for measuring strategy performance
Continue to contribute to system architecture decisions and the selection of development tools

Required Experience/Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience in software development
Three or more years of experience programming in C++ or Java
Three years working in a Linux environment.
At least two years’ experience with a scripting language (Python, Perl, Ruby, etc). Python preferred
Solid understanding of multi-threaded and network programming

Reports to: Team Leader
Location: New York, New York


Job Responsibilities:

Gain familiarity with team and processes (first 3 months)
Software development, optimization and performance testing in an ultra-high frequency trading environment
Implement and optimize trading platform working collaboratively with the quantitative analyst and traders
Contribute to system architecture decisions and the selection of development and research tools

Required Experience/Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field or equivalent work experience. Master’s Degree is preferred
Three or more years of experience programming in C++
Three years working in a Linux environment
At least two years’ experience with a scripting language(Python, Perl, Ruby, etc). Python preferred
Experience measuring and optimizing software algorithms

Desired Skills:
Assembly language experience
BOOST library experience
Experience optimizing the Linux Kernel
Experience measuring network latency
Familiarity with high frequency trading
Strategic thinker/Really enjoys figuring out how software and hardware work
Detail-oriented
Driven to deliver only quality code
For the right solution, open to any technology
