ColdFusion Developer
Position Description:
Requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and documentation Develop end-to-end designs for the web interfaces, reporting, and analysis components of projects
Provide advice and guidance on appropriate applications, reporting, and analysis architecture.
Develop web portals, applications and other user interface components to facilitate the user interface to Business Intelligence resources.
Assist Decision Support team members; DBAs, database developers, requirements analysts, and others, in understanding data and meeting user requirements.
Participate in project work groups with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to understand data specific needs.
Develop and document user security related functionality and constraints.
Skills Required
Primary Requirements:
Strong programming/development and coding skills
Excellent analytic and design skills Detail oriented with strong problem solving skills
Ability to analyze complex and large amounts of data Solid data analysis skills using SQL, PL/SQL and other query based applications
Oracle experience to include queries, tuning, creating tables, and stored procedures
Desired Skills
Working knowledge BI Reporting tools
Additional Information:
For this one ColdFusion is a must. CF version 7 at least, preferably 8. Experience with SQL against Oracle preferable, but other relation databases will do.
Experience with Cold Fusion Components highly desired as well as the CF 8 Ajax functions. CSS for layout and an understanding of Javascript for at least form validation.
Educational Requirements
Bachelors in Computer Science or other related field
Candidate will possess a minimum of two years of experience with application development.
A minimum of two years of experience with ColdFusion or C/C#/C++ (with some MX experience), C#, Javascript, XML, , SQL, PL\SQL, and Oracle v9 or higher and a certification in ColdFusion
Senior Tester with Section 508 testing experience
- Minimum of 5 years of software testing experience. Strong experience in creating test plans, scripts, cases and producing test reports and resolving bugs to closure.
- Minimum of 2 years of 508 testing compliance or other reasonably acceptable experience.
- Certification on 508 compliance testing or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 1 year experience with J-Unit and N-Unit, AccVerify, CommonLook, Java Ferret, JAWS, Narrator, Object Inspector, Web Accessibility Toolbar (WAT).
