Cloud Infrastructure Architect / Data Center Lead
Foster City, CA, United States

We are seeking to add to our team an experienced professional to lead the strategy and build the operations of our hosted applications infrastructure from the ground floor. Working together with the solutions team and data center partners, you will be responsible to design, build and maintain a scalable, secure and reliable infrastructure to meet business and operational objectives. The ideal candidate has proven experience managing customer-facing hosted applications for B2C or B2B internet-based businesses; is a competent team lead yet willing to be hands-on.

Responsibilities
• Build and lead a delivery group within a new cloud service & product team
• Design scalable, flexible and secure infrastructure to support cloud based applications.
• Identify, select and manage data center/co-location vendors to ensure that service delivery and support meet performance and business objectives.
• Develop internal processes with the solution teams to design and execute customer support processes.
• Work with the solutions team to assess current and future needs, improve architecture, performance, reliability, response time and security.
• Develop and maintain project scope, timeline and budgets, through internal team and business partners.
• Manage customer communications as they relate to the hosted infrastructure and operations.
• Responsible for setting up policies and implementing robust monitoring for all new and existing services.

Qualifications:
• Information Systems, Computer Science or Computer Engineering degree. An advance degree is an advantage.
• 7+ years of progressive responsibilities in hosting infrastructure with preferred 3+ years managing operations teams.
• Experience designing and maintaining customer facing mission critical applications in a SaaS/Cloud environment. A strong service orientated attitude.
• Proficiency in all the infrastructure layers, hardware, OS, virtualization, storage, network, database and security.
• Experience managing vendors and external data centers, including negotiating service contracts.
• Comfortable handling high level strategy and implementation details.
• Strong problem solving capabilities.
• Solid understanding of data security requirements, policies and auditing processes.
• Excellent communications with customers and internal engineering and business teams.
• Ability to establish policies and procedures and to effective working relations.
• Strong leadership, analytical, planning and resource management skills.
• Excellent verbal & written communication.

Я честно говоря не знаю, но по моему опыту и по опыту тех кого недавно нанимали компания двольно щедрая в плане компенсации. А тут еще и URGENT Position.
