INSTALLATION
============
Please use a Linux system to prepare the bootable usb key.

Prior to Install the application
The following packages must be installed on your System prior to generate the bootable application.
1.Dialog Package
2.Lsscsi Package
3.Syslinux Package
All those packages are provided by your Linux provider. For example RHEL or Suse website

Installing and Running Linux Bootable at a Linux Computer (RHEL or Suse)
- Download *.run binary
- Insert a USB key into your computer
- Run *.run file with root privileges and follow the instructions.
- Restart your computer and select the USB stick as the boot device.
- Lenovo Linux Diagnostics will be start automatically and you can use it to diagnose your hardware.


LIMITATIONS AND CONSIDERATIONS

Limitations:

*SATA Controller Mode needs to be set to AHCI in system BIOS if the system doesn't use UEFI BIOS

Lenovo Linux Diagnostics - Bootable Generator for Windows is a tool that can be used on a Microsoft Windows OS-based computer to create Lenovo Linux Diagnostics - Bootable USB.
Lenovo Linux Diagnostics - Bootable USB can be booted by itself and tests harware devices in Lenovo ThinkPad, ThinkCentre, ThinkStation, ThinkServer, and IdeaPad systems. It can be used on your Lenovo computer regardless of what OS your system has.

You will need the following files to complete this task:
- The bootable-generator-10.exe file
- The .iso file (for example, linux-bootable-cd2103346.iso).
