H1-B for a Mechanical Engineer (13 years of experience)?

Здравствуйте, буду благодарна советам.

Дано:

знакомый в России, хороший человек, 35-40 лет, резюме размещено снизу (сама ему резюме подредактирую), бывает (редко) в США, но нет раб. визы или г.к., английский есть, но надо улучшать, чем он и занимается.

Вопросы:

1. есть ли шанс с его опытом найти работу на H1-B с последующим зафайливанием GC (абсолютно не знаю этого рынка, поэтому буду благодарна даже общенаправляющим рассуждениям)?
2. если ответ на номер 1 "возможно", то где рекомендуете ему смотреть работу, сайты, штаты, компании?

Резюме какое-то сумбурное, но опыт кажется у него хороший.
Надо полностью переформатировать резюме и отделить котлеты от мух, а именно: сертификаты - отдельным пунктом и отдельно опыт работы: более детально с указанием конкретных результатов на том или ином месте работы. Также основные навыки отдельным пунктом в summary, кмк.

Еще я бы убрал reverse engineering, - это как бы говорит, что человек занимается воровством технологий, что может не очень приветствоваться. Тем более Россия имеет репутацию как страна, ворующая технологии.

Шансы получить раб. визу конечно есть, вопрос только какая доля вероятости. Но по любому под лежачий камень вода не течет и надо пытаться подаваться куда только можно, а дальше как повезет.

Let him try Analog Devices (http://www.analog.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;): they have offices in Europe and they can do "L" visa for him to the US. I knew someone from Ireland who got GC through them working on hardware for accellerometers...

Согласен с предыдущим оратором. Проще устроиться в филиал американской конторы и переехать с визой L1.
