We are writing to inform you that the OBITalk.com portal, which you have used to configure your OBiHAI phone and/or ATA, is quickly approaching the end of its life, and will be officially shut down on Oct 31, 2024. After this date, the portal will no longer be accessible, and its services will no longer be available for use. Your device(s) should continue to operate but HP provides no guarantee of continual operation after October 31, 2024.

After 12/18/2023, consumer OBi devices that do work now, will continue to work, for some undetermined time, but none of those existing devices will be able to be added, changed, or deleted. The OBiTALK Consumer Portal will be officially shutting down access on October 31st, 2024. If devices are already configured to use Google Voice, no further interaction with the OBiTALK portal is needed, and Google has no plans at this time to shut down its own infrastructure connecting these third-party devices.

У меня уже очень давно работают Obi адаптеры. Один был в Москве, другой здесь. Удобно для пожилых кто со смартфонами и планшетами не может работать. Звонок как на обычный телефон. Два разных номера Google Voice, оба бесплатные. А потом когда Google Voice отрубили в России (и некоторое время спустя Obi) остался по сути один адаптер. Есть он или нет - не критично. Звонки все равно проходят через Google Voice на обычный смартфон.
