Statistics of CPU utilization on database servers

Does anybody have any references to articles that consider CPU utilization on database servers as a stochastic process?

I would like to know statistical properties of CPU utilization (averaged over 0.1-1 sec) for real world apps or for standard database benchmarks (TPC?).
Ideally I would like to have an example of distribution and autocorrelation functions (at least for a specific benchmark/HW configuration).
