Network Admin needed

POSITION Network Administrator
LOCATION: Corporate Office (Mississauga, ON)
REPORTING TO: Lead Network Architect

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Install and maintain Corporate Intel servers, routers, and switches
Maintain Corporate Exchange server
Monitoring systems and proactively resolving potential issues
Tier 2 support for Canadian Sales Force
Performs periodic auditing of security and network configurations·
Maintain and support of the NT 2000 data networks including VPN and other technologies. ·
Assists regional administrators as required, co-coordinating efforts to maintain stability of global operations.·
Plans and prepares technical reports, memoranda, and instructional manuals as required and maintain change control·
Develop, design and test software, patches and policies for laptop and desktop deployment·
Develop, test and maintain computer images ·
Serve as technical point of contact for Help Desk escalations·
Creation and maintenance of end user documentation as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: ·
MCSE designation or equivalent experience·
Requires knowledge of Microsoft NT networking under Active Directory, MS Exchange 5.5/2000 e-mail system ·
Effective communications skills·
Must have strong interpersonal skills·
Should possess good problem solving skills·
Experience with Visio would be considered an asset. ·
Strong administrative and organizational skills ·
Ability to perform under pressure with a minimum of supervision, prioritize effectively and perform proactively.
