This one is easy. I'd never accepted such an offer. Mainly because I do not consider China a disent country to live in, and the same goes for a lot of other countries, inlcluding Russia. This is, of cause, my personal opinion, but most of desisions in my life I make based on my personal opinion.

Money is the only criterion for you???

Нет. Человек выбирает себе профессию. Средний уровень оплаты в уже выбранной профессии от него не зависит.
It means you have to choose the most paid profession, otherwise you are insane or a masohist ....
It cannot be excuse. Or or could be... for masohist
ONLY if your ONLY criterion is money.
Otherwise your logic does not work.
You know, people choose countries and professions not only by this criterion.

Wouldn't you? So if we raise the bar to 2 million/year, doesn't it make China a little more disent country? Come on, do not lie to yourself. If you've lived in America, you will not resist the offer.[/b]

Hold on. You just told us that you would never accepted such offer.

Отлично сказано
Yeah. I agree. But why you do not respect our opinion and consider us as masohists?

Ok. Let's imagine: you lost your job in the middle of recession. You have to pay mortgages, loans, support family, etc. You have $100k/year offer from China Telecom. Will you accept the offer? Alternative: to loose you house, for instance.

I have chosen America (may be temporally) ONLY because of money. And you?

And I have not.
But you have to decide is it temporally or not.
If it is not temporally and only for money...
I am sorry for you one more time.

For how long? Depends on what?
I do not think I have to tell you it. Ok?
OK. And here why I am sorry for you.
You do not think you have to tell why you're sorry for me?
Nope. Read one more time.
You live in a country that you hate, you do not know for how long you will live here and what it depends on.
Who needs a shrink here?
sterhus wrote:You live in a country that you hate,
You are mistaken one more time: I do not hate America. I like it, but I do not consider America as the greatest society in the world. Do you see the difference?

Ok.
"You cannot afford to live in a country that you consider as the greatest society in the world, or in other words, in a country that you like. Blah-blah-blah..."
BTW, what country you consider " as the greatest society in the world"?
